Ils ont fait Björk, ils font maintenant Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, la première chef de gouvernement ouvertement homo. A noter qu'elle est Première Ministre intérimaire, qu'elle n'a pas été élue mais désignée par le Président, et que son gouvernement ne survivra peut-être pas aux élections qui auront lieu dans l'année, tellement c'est la merde en Islande.
Mise à jour: Je viens de voir que Jóhanna avait tenté, il y a 15 ans, de prendre le pouvoir au sein de son parti, mais avait perdu. Dans son discours de défaite, elle avait affirmé:
Mon temps viendra!

I don't understand why you think this is a bad choice. Why being homo would disqualify you for being a leader? Because this is "offbeat"?! I think the President chose the most popular and experienced politician to lead a temporary government at a difficult moment. Anyway, the real choice will be made by the Icelandic people when they vote in April/May.
