For that last day in Berlin, we chose to do a bit of cultural stuff. We went to a museum of modern art. On the way, we saw people celebrating a gay union, it looked nice. At the museum, we saw some Andy Warhol...

some Matthew Barney...

...if I only cite the hippest.
That evening, we started partying with Nico and his mate Mani and we said goodbye to each other over a rubbish present that I chose (a T-shirt with John Lennon as a DJ is still better than a pink monster attacking the city - that's for Floris, ha ha!).
Then, we finally went to the Berghain! So, first of all, we may have arrived early (but not enough, apparently), there was a huge queue! At least three hours queueing to plan! Fortunately, we found Lionel, Renaud's mate, in the queue and we won at least half an hour. We spoke with quite a few people, it was nice. We were told we may not make it through the entrance, and that since it's indeed crowded, the bouncers would feel completely free to rebuff people. After two hours waiting (thankfully it wasn't cold...), Mark was thinking of giving up because he had to go in a few hours. And then, we met these two charming frenchies who taught us how to jump the queue... I'm not gonna reveal here their secret, but they went ahead and when they got in, they sent us a message to tell us it worked. So we did the same! And it worked as well! We scrapped one hour of queue, just like that, yes!!
It's an impressive club. It's worth the wait. Because I left at 11am, and the club was still open. I also saw Ellen Alien DJing for 5 hours in a row, in what is said to be the best techno club in the world (female DJs rock, man!), I was amazed. You can't take pictures inside the club but I took one of Ellen Alien anyway. OK, you can't see anything but then, just go to the club yourself!

Mark left very early to get his plane... from Frankfurt! I stayed, with Lionel, because the music was really good. When I left the club, I had some kind of blues, which had already happened to me the previous Friday actually... I don't know why. I had all the reasons to be happy of my stay, I was even happy that I could see all that. Maybe it was the whole "after party" thing...

Once at Nico's, I got prepared, I thanked him and then I took my stuff to take the coach to Budapest, where I was to meet up with Ada and Peter for the OZORA festival...
