I got up, had breakfast at Cédric's and I went straight to the Palacio Real, then to the Almudena Cathedral in front of it. What I like about the Spaniards is that they don't hesitate in adding modern elements everywhere, even in churches. Like this stained glass showing Jesus in the Cathedral:

I then went to the Contemporary Arts Museum of the Queen Sofia and I really liked it. I could even see Picasso's famous Guernica, but also Dalí's works and many others... Unfortunately, I didn't have much time and I had to speed up for the last two floors. :(
I met up with Awen and another couchsurfer, Nuno from Portugal, we saw the statue of the Fallen Angel (apparently the only statue of Lucifer ever made, the Spaniards!) then the Casa Encendida, a very dynamic cultural centre.

The evening, I cooked a tartiflette for Renan and I offered him a little present to thank him for hosting me. We drank a bottle of white wine with this, while watching Sex & the City and the movie Invasion with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig which was really shit. It was very nice.
