A little tour of the new things?

  • First and foremost, the design! Much less original than the previous one but much more simple, clear and efficient.
  • The blog now works with AJAX, which makes it faster to load pages (and more trendy!). The people who disabled JavaScript shouldn't have any problem to browse it though.
  • Accessibility has been taken into account and the blog has even been tested on my shit mobile phone! If the rule 13.1, priority 2, from WCAG 1.0 by W3C has not been implemented correctly yet, all of the other rules have. If you don't understand what I've just said, don't bother with this.
  • The little Web 2.0 side of the blog has been improved with more interaction with applications such as Twitter, Del.icio.us and Last.fm. By the way, did you try the Picasa gallery beside? Feel free to give it a go and report me any bug you find! The integration of outer modules is now performed by CRON tasks. I love it!
  • What do you think about the possibility to change backgrounds? (Yes, there, on the right!)

I have an army of posts hibernating somewhere on my hard drive. See you very soon!

    Sympa l'appli pour changer de fond.
    Bug trouvé sur l'encodage/decodage de ton twitter, les accents sont remplacés par des ? sur fond noir.

    Ah oui tiens merde. Depuis que je l'ai mis en ligne, j'arrete pas de trouver des bugs! Mais je peux pas les corriger pour l'instant :(

    NB: the link for the RSS feed has changed. The former one should still work, but not necessarily with the right language! There's also a feed for comments now.

    NB: le lien pour le fil RSS a changé. L'ancien devrait toujours fonctionner, mais pas forcément avec le bon langage! Il existe aussi maintenant, un fil pour les commentaires. (Tout ce charabia, c'est en realite pour tester mes commentaires!)

    Euh juste une ptite remarque en passant par là... (tout le monde s'en fout mais ça m'a marqué...)
    AJAX ne permet pas de charger les pages plus vite en soit au contraire même puisque le principe est de charger beaucoup plus d'informations dès le départ. Cependant il permet une navigation plus rapide par la suite en évitant justement le rechargement des pages... Voila une ptite précision d'informaticien en passant.

    @Mitch Je me suis mal exprime, j'aurais du dire "navigation plus rapide" afin d'eviter tout amalgame. Cela dit, tout depend de l'implementation que l'on fait d'AJAX. Passe me voir plus souvent, et puisque tu t'y connais, aide-moi a debuguer s'il te plait!
