The fourth day... Woke up early again. We had to run to see the Borghese Museum. We managed to get tickets for only one hour. It?s a magnificent museum. The paintings and the sculptures , the walls, the floors, everything is worked out and beautiful. Crazy! We then walked on the mount of Villa Borghese and I got more sunbrunt than during 2 years in London.
We went to Trastevere, which is somehow the boho area of Rome. People spread their laundry on wires between houses and walls are covered with anarchist posters. This is also where you can find the best restaurants and ice cream shops! We took the touristic menu (like big tourists) and it was really good and really cheap (13? the whole meal!). We hung around the area (to try and make Emilie meet guys too, hee!) and then, ta-dah, we find Brandon! We got drunk in a bar and I received a message from Antonio saying he was going to the gay bar near the Coliseum. I couldn?t miss that!
We took the bus to go to the Coliseum (we didn?t pay that time), we took Emilie to the hotel and she demanded that I kiss Antonio! (This is a real friend!) So I went to the bar with Brandon, met up with Antonio. We talked about a lot of stuff (clichés about Italians are ALL TRUE, they are sweet talkers) and then the bar closed down so we wandered in the streets and I told him to take me to a nice place where we could be alone. And then, ha ha, he took to a street from which we could see the Coliseum and couldn?t be seen. It was nice, kissing a handsome Italian in front of the Coliseum. Now that?s what I call tourism!!! And then it was 4am. He took me back to the hotel and I passed out on the bed beside Emilie.
