When English newspapers are not talking about Diana, they alk about immigration. And not in a good way. Here, the Daily Express writes that immigrants get 85% of new jobs in Britain. In France, I'm not sure we could read such a thing, at least not in that "shock and horror" fashion. Add to that the late scandals at the Home Office about the immigration numbers, the mistakes of chancellor Alistair Darling and the lack of charisma of Gordon Brown as well as his annoying tendancy to only follow opinion polls, and you can be sure that the next Prime Minister will be David Cameron, the leader of the English right. After 10 years of a left-wing illusion with the New Labour at power, it's rather sad for the UK.
