Bad time for Barack Obama

Hillary Clinton was rather discreet these days, we didn't hear from her a lot. Apparently, she's doing a tour on a coach in Iowa. Obama might have been thought to take advantage from it to intensify his campaign and climb again in polls. And indeed, he intensified his campaign. But he committed a blunder that may cost him quite a few points: Obama integrated Donnie McClurkin in his campaign. Mr McClurkin is a gospel singer who describes himself as an "ex-gay", that is a gay man who became heterosexual probably through a so-called miracle remedy I already talked about on this blog. The ex-gay calls homosexuality a "curse". And it doesn't really make Obama's quite a few gay fans very happy.

So Obama made a statement to say something like "I don't agree with him but he can get me a few votes". And coming from a candidate whose campaign only relies on only two points, the first one being that he voted against the war on Iraq, and the second one, that he can represent a real change in politics, it's disappointing. Some even reacted saying: "At least with Hillary Clinton, we already know she's a bitch, so we'll never be disappointed"!
