It began when Bayrou (center candidate for the presidential bid) accused TF1 (France's biggest TV channel) to emphasize a binary view of politics (left and right and that's it).
Then, when she seriously slumped in polls, Ségo (socialist candidate) blamed the "powers of money" to act against her. I think she meant the big media companies, that would have some financial interest in seeing Sarko (conservative candidate) win the next elections, especially TF1. To what UMP militants replied that most journalists are left-wing and always represent Sarko as a fascist.
Well, what Bayrou said, I accept. Yes, I support him so it is possible that I'm being subjective. However, Ségo's accusations... If even the Canard Enchaîné (left-wing satirical newspaper) criticizes her, she must face the music, instead of talking of some media conspiracy! About UMP militants' allegations, they're not any better.
People who are for Thingy always believe they are the victims of a worldwide conspiracy against which they can't do anything, because otherwise, if the other people were fully aware of what they are doing and not hypnotized by images, they would see how much better is their point of view on the world!
People have different interests, diverse opinions and their own subjectivity. I'm even sure that most French people only see and believe what they want in medias.
