Nerdcore rising

I've seen a report about a new kind of rappers surfacing in the United States: the nerd rappers. They are rappers, generally looking weak, singing about computers and "Star Wars"! The most memorable nerd rapper was probably MC Frontalot with his album "Nerdcore Rising". You have to see him live. I don't think he's gonna tour in Europe soon but when he's worldwide famous, you won't be able to say I didn't warn you!

Do You Want To

Do You Want To

Last monday, T***** came over. He brought this. What, you don't recognize?

Do You Want To Back

Greek Street

Last saturday, I joined T***** in Soho and we went to the Trash Palace. We drank a lot, chatted a lot, connected a lot, well, I went to his place and stayed until the day after at 7pm!

Needless to say more. All the more as I know he's reading this text!

See you soon!

Revenge on the tube

Juju at Liverpool Street Station

September, high stress period. Beginning of courses, new organization for your job, change of flat... About courses, I began yesterday. It was so boring... And I nearly haven't seen anybody of my class, I don't know if there are interesting guys or funny chicks! About the job, Sennep wants me to work for them part-time (3 days a week, wednesday, thursday and friday), which makes things way more simple. About the flat, Ada and I visited yesterday a great studio located in Old Street, amazing area, perfect! And furthermore, I clicked with a guy. Well, okay, I've only met him on the Internet, but that's already something!

But!

I had enough money to pay half my fees for uni, however, if you want to pay in several times, you need to pay a 200£ credit charge! And you have to pay 1100 by the end of november and 1100 by the end of january! Argh! Besides, I'm gonna have lessons on thursday evenings, which means I won't be able to work as much as planned at Sennep. So, maybe they're not gonna hire me finally, all the more as they were like "oh, tomorrow is your last day!" and I am shitting myself. And about the flat we found yesterday, the guy made us visit, was ok for us to take it, to eventually call us 2 hours later (whereas we had celebrated with a little bottle of white wine) and tell us he cancelled. Gutted! On top of that, the guy on the Internet doesn't answer me anymore. Just like that. Anyway, meeting through the Internet is shit.

Therefore, yesterday evening, we did stupid stuff on the tube, to feel more relaxed, you know. I need to make a gallery "tube", seriously.

THE new haircut

Don't scream. Everything's okay. It's just hair! And everybody can have the look they like! I'm even glad as it had been a while since I had done something new and, for fuck's sake, I'm in London!

New haircut!

Le Geek, c'est Chic!

Download Firefox!

Currently, there's the geek chic fashion. Yeah, apparently you can be a geek and chic. Some are really not afraid of paradoxes.

Ayway, I bought the Firefox shirt to support Mozilla's browser. A crazy woman told me it looked nice, but I don't know if it means, for all that, that it's chic.

Trash

I thought to myself the best love song I had ever heard was "Trash" from Suede. So, a little tribute here...

Maybe, maybe it's the clothes we wear,
The tasteless bracelets and the dye in our hair,
Maybe it's our kookiness,
Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns,
Our nothing places and our cellophane sounds,
Maybe it1s our looseness,

But we're trash, you and me,
We're the litter on the breeze,
We're the lovers on the streets,
Just trash, me and you,
It's in everything we do,
It's in everything we do...

Maybe, maybe it's the things we say,
The words we've heard and the music we play,
Maybe it's our cheapness,
Or maybe, maybe it's the times we1ve had,
The lazy days and the crazes and the fads,
Maybe it's our sweetness,

But we're trash, you and me,
We're the litter on the breeze,
We're the lovers on the street,
Just trash, me and you,
It's in everything we do,
It's in everything we do...

I Don't Feel Like Dancing Either

Today, the Scissor Sisters release their new album, "Ta-Dah", whose first single is "I Don't Feel Like Dancing". Yeah, I know. When you listen to this title, you think to yourself: "Great! It must be a really cynical song! This will be for all the times I won't feel like dancing!" and you listen to the track and then... meh. It's a little happy song that's not really original. Where the hell have our crazy sisters gone?

Otherwise, they sand at Trafalgar Square last saturday but you needed tickets to attend it, but it was broadcasted on TV as well. Even if people were dancing in the fountains, I didn't fingd the gig was great (the versions were the same as on the album). And most of all, it was a support for Red, a Motorola cell phone that sends like 5% of your expenses to the fight against AIDS in Africa. And Ana Matronic made a speech to make us buy it ("think about the products you buy, or you don't buy") and I thought it sounded just wrong. Anyway, the last song, with the dancers disguised as obese women and as Trafalgar was good!

Yeah, Marissa is dead!

Marissa is alive

Lately, I watched "The O.C." with Ada, it was the episode we were looking forward to: Marissa's death! And it was so funny: she is in the car with her boyfriend Ryan driving, a baddy arrives, she screams, he knocks their car over, they fall, Ryan takes her out of the car that explodes at the very moment they leave. And there, she spits "Ryan..." and DIES.

Marissa is dead

We are disapointed though as she was supposed to die of an overdose in a sex orgy! That's what the writers, bitter after Mischa Barton declared she was leaving the series, had in mind. It would have been way funnier.
