This is a tag you can find everywhere in Jussieu. I had taken a picture of it on May 17th, 2005, during the day against homophobia, and I had forgotten to upload it...

I found it on Sexy Sushi's website. It means "Marie, oh yeah ! Trintignant, oh no !", it's about a terrible scandal that shocked France when the famous actress Marie Trintignant got beaten to death by her famous lover Bertrand Cantat from the band Noir Désir.

The pictures of SOLIDAYS 2005 I spent with Dégel are here. We had a ball with Nolwenn, Guillaume, Brahim, Yannick and the others...
I also uploaded the pictures of the weekend they spent in Bordeaux, I wasn't there. It made me kind of nostalgic, during one year, I'll be in London, doing I don't know what kind of job, living in I don't know what kind of flat...
The good news is that Benoit from Dégel is gonna live in my flat. And he'll stay there only one year. So I will be able to study again and enjoy Dégel for one more year !!!
I hope everything will be alright in London. I'm not asking for it to be marvellous, I just want it to go smoothly. Spend an easy year learning English, discovering British culture, watching their TV programs... and then get back to Paris.
Yeah, I made it, I retrieved my boxer !I've just been to my letterbox and I found my boxer, neatly folded, with a really warm note :
Dear Neighbour,
There is your ill-fated good fallen on one of my windows : it's not lost !
Kindly,
B. R.
I don't write his name, I can be ashamed, but maybe he can't !

Yesterday, I've been to the laundry service. When I got home, I dryed the laundry I couldn't dry outside, by the window : my transparent military boxer, my fabulous ENERGIE t-shirt (I usually hate brands but this t-shirt is really fabulous), my Degel t-shirt, my ENGLAND boxer and my BRAZIL boxer. But I'm so clumpy my BRAZIL boxer fell !!!
I was panicking, I went to the window and SHOCKING HORROR ! My boxer was hanging on a window on the 4th floor !!! This implied 2 things : first, that I would have to knock on 4th floor flat people's door to ask them my boxer and, second, that everybody living on the 4th floor would see my boxer hanging on a window and ask themselves quite a few questions...
To reach those flats, I needed to go by other stairs. So I went down 6 floors, took the lift (they have a lift), went up to the 4th floor but nobody was here. So I left a message in the letterbox :
Hello,
My name is Julien, I live on the 6th floor. I was drying my laundry by the window when my BRAZIL boxer fell on the window of your flat ! When you find it, please drop it in my letter box. Don't worry, it just came out of the washing machine.
Thank you and sorry !
No but... I don't have to feel ashamed... not at all...
I've been part of the Solidays festival this year ! It was cool, we were several from Degel, we talked, laughed, smoked, enjoyed... And we have seen Garbage !!! SO GOOD !!! Okay, Shirley Manson just didn't say goodbye but, whatever, it was good anyway. (I loved when all the big blokes started shouting : "WHY DO YOU LOVE ME ?")
There will be a gallery on Dégel's website, you'll be the first informed !
Last thursday, I was in London during the terror attacks. It was the very day I has to get back to Paris.
I was lucky because, on thursday morning, I had to go from 8.30 from Ada's place, but as I was late again, I left at 9 (when the first explosion has been reported). I took the bus that lead me to the tube station around 9.30 but, once there, security guys came and told us they were closing the station as there had been an "explosion", nothing more.
I was in deep shit ! I looked for information about buses, but there, public transports are sooooooo rubbish, really badly organized. So a half hour later, I got on a bus but it stopped halfway, as a bus had been targeted by terrorists. So it was 11, the ti;e when my coach was supposed to head to France, but, anyway, they're always late. I was in Notting Hill and there was nothing romantic or comical about it. I asked people around me and then it was clear : there had been several attacks in the tube and the bus network and everything was paralysed. The only way to get to the coach station : the cab ! The only money in my pocket : 4£ !
But I need more than that to stop ("I''m a survivor, I''m gonna make it..."), so I shake my little legs, I take my suitcase and open my brand new map of London to go to Victoria Station. For one hour, I've been walking in London not to miss the coach that would get me back to Paris, while watching the ambulances and the police parading.
Once I was at the coach station, I watched around me to see which one was indicating Paris when suddenly, all the screens displayed : "All services suspended until further notice.". AAAAAAH !!! And that is not cool at all because I didn't know at what time travels would resume, if my ticket was going to be accepted, if I had to sleep here or what, if my mobile was to run out of battery in 20 or 30 minutes...
So I spent 9 hours in the coach station talking with a granny, dying for food whereas some people were having kebabs, keeping on listening to my MP3 reader, trying to call the people I could call because of the obvious network saturation, warning my family, my friends, and stuff. (By the way, I received a message from a friend crying who had just seen the news on TV and worrying for me, oh, she's so cute !!!)
At 8.30, the coach arrived and we left one half hour later. The ferry arrived late too, which means I got home at 8.30 am, the day after. And I had to go to the Solidays the afternoon !!!
However, I shall not complain : I'm alive.
I'm a survivor
I'm not gonna give up
I'm not gon' stop
I'm gonna work harder
I'm a survivor
I'm gonna make it
I'm a survivor
keep on survivin' !!!
