Realized with fakings !

A poufiasse is a cheap pétasse

Yesterday with Ada, we watched the Country Music Awards, an American ceremony awarding the best country music artists. IT WAS HORRIBLE ! Deep America shown to the world ! All the blokes were wearing cowboy hats and the chicks had some kind of horrible haircuts, if you can call that "hair". The one who received the most awards (5 prices) is Lee Ann Womack or something like that and she, when receiving her price, with the finger turned to to the ground like "you have to believe me otherwise I scratch you !", said a terrible "I love country music". The worst of all was that she had a horrible blond "hair", her overloaded makeup, her highest heels and her tightest dress she could'nt even walk with. Suddenly, she was the perfect poufiasse and she helped me giving the best definition of my favourite swearword : "A poufiasse is a cheap pétasse".

Okay, now you're gonna ask me : "What the fuck is a pétasse ?". Er... Well, Pétasse is a swearword as well, that I could define by "Superficial stupid bitch". So a poufiasse is worse than a pétasse because she's superficial but she can't even dress properly.

High on politics

Yesterday night, Ada and I went home quite late, we switched on the TV, we were fucked up and we saw BBC NEWS. (NB : BBC ! UK's biggest channel ! The reason why the TV License is more expensive !) They were talking about Iraq or something, Ada looked at it, sighed and said : "It must be so boring to study politics !". Then they talked about whatever story and they talked about Iraq again. Ada, feeling worse and worse : "Fuck, they just can't stop bothering us with Iraq ! They talk about it only when nothing is happening here !". I was laughing out loud ! That's so cool being French, you don't have to feel guilty about Iraq.

Yesterday, I took Ada to a night out with my Caffe Nero's coworkers. We had a ball !

My colleagues at Caffè Nero and me

We had hardly arrived when Ada suggested we offer shots to everybody. So Carlos, Felipe, Svejana and Barbara (my manager) drank straight with us. Quickly, we got more relaxed and Ada started asking my coworkers about me : "So, how is he ?" and Barbara answered : "At the beginning, he was really slow and I was like C''est pas possible ! C''est pas possible ! but now he is okay, and he is really good with customers.". They all agree about that, me being good with customers... A few moments later Marco and his mates joined us with Tequila and stuff. We were quite wasted when we left... Oh la la... C''est pas possible !

TWO YEARS CELIBACY !

Today, it's been two months since I arrived in London... and two since I last had a boyfriend. Yesterday, it really stunned me when I watched a TV show about men having a mid-life crisis : one of them has been single for 6 years and when he said that, the chick looked at him in such a way ! Like "I feel so much pity for you". Fuckin' hell, I'm 22 and I've never been more in "love failure" than today. Fuckin' hell, I dread the end of the month, the family meeting... with my parents married for 25 years (the true love, the everlasting one), my big sister and her girlfriend (the one-year-and-half stable relationship proving that being gay is not a good excuse for being single) and my twinsister and her "new boyfriend" (their relationship may be short, which reminds me that I didn't even have any "middle-term" relationship lately, except the one I ended 2 two years ago).

Fuckin' hell, 2 years ! I'm a desperate cause ! In 2 years, I got 3 failures : "Hi Juju, here's my boyfriend !" then "Yeah, you couldn't hear from me because, now, I have a boyfriend !" and, at last : "You can still tease me by telling me who's coming tonight except you !". (I think some may recognise themselves, nevermind ! Anyway, nobody's reading that damn blog !!!) I'm a desperate cause ! No but, really ! I mean, the other day, in the Tube, a somehow cute bloke with some kind of charism, sat beside me. I stared at him like a pervert. Then, something happened that sort of... "moved" me. No, I'm not saying I was having a hard on !!! Actually, his leg just touched mine, but it was enough to remind me how good and strong a man's affection is. It also made me realize how long I haven't had it. HOLY CRAP !!! And, besides, the screen of my PC is dead ! FUCKIN' SHIT !!! I definitely need to celebrate all that with Ada. It can't hurt me anyway.

I still work for Caffe Nero for the moment. My manager, Barbara, is really nice, Marco and my other coworkers as well, customers as well. Actually, it's a very nice job, when you're good at it. I am terribly slow, I take 3 hours to serve a customer and wash 2 cups, which kind of gets on my manager's nerves but she keeps calm anyway (yeah, she needs staff). Today, she fought with a customer, it was wicked !

The best thing in this job, that can also be the worst, is customers. If some are annoying as shit, most of them are nice and some are really nice. I speak for hours with French people (my manager doesn't say anything thanks to Customer Relationship Management) and I hit on some guys ! LOL ! When a handsome bloke is a bit lost and asks me for a favour, I do everything that I can to help him and I come every 5 minutes, asking : "Is everything alright ?", blah blah blah... And they are naively smiling, saying : "Yeah cheers." while I'm daydreaming about them... This I enable myself to ask them for cigarettes ! Oh come on, they have to serve some purpose !

Tombé pour la France:
CRACK

"Freedom leading the people" by Delacroix

Here, they can't stop talking about the French riots, this is the first news they talk about on TV or on newspapers.

We were all aware but we didn't worry, we thought everything was alright for the moment and that it would keep on like that. But actually no, and it cracked. A big CRACK.

I met a French lady with her husband at Caffe Nero the other day and she was telling that she was shocked, given the life quality in France that such things happen. That she was an immigrant too and that she was integrated, that she didn't understand that behaviour and that Sarkozy should send them all to reformatories. On the other hand, her husband was saying it was the system's fault, because there is a real assistantship in France and that then, people don't bother looking for a job and thus, couldn't integrate.

It's obvious there is a real integration problem in France, but I don't think reformatories are the solution. They asked me what I thought about it and I didn't know what to say. The situation looks so intricate and I so don't know anything about politics that I can't say anything but : "Burning cars is bad !" and "We have to do something !" or : "No, I don't wanna lose my social cover !"

Some people hate Sarkozy and I don't know why, I still don't know what he did that was so wrong (please remember I don't know anything about politics !), I just remember that he saved 2 or 3 kids taken into hostage in a school (mediatisation, hold me...) and that he watches "Star Academy" (some kind of show between "X-Factor" and "Big Brother"). This poster on the left explains the current political mess in France.

Oh yeah, bad thing : he congratulated the new Polish president for his election and that's bad because he's homophobic. Feel free to add comments to teach me a bit more about Sarkozy (<-- desperately trying to fill in empty blog, please !)

What scares me the most, is that Le Pen gets elected. After the 21st of April, we are not sure of anything anymore.

A few minutes ago, on TV, the news presenter was mocking the French devise, Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, that translates into : "Freedom, Equality, Brotherhood"...
